THEMATIC EXHIBITION OF GI CRAFTS PRACTICED &
PRODUCED BY THE ARTISANS FROM PAN INDIA FROM 6-15 MARCH

EPCH has been performing multifarious activities to
ensure the overall growth of handicrafts. Artisans and
craft persons are the backbone of the handicrafts sector
and their upliftment has always remained the main
concern of our Council.
this direction, the EPCH is organizing a thematic
exhibition-cum-sale of GI Crafts practiced &
produced by artisans from Pan India along with the
participation of 20 artisans from pan India at ACROPOLIS
MALL No. 1858/1, Rajdanga Main Road, Sector 1,
East Kolkata Township, Kolkata, West Bengal 700107 from
06th March – 15th March
2020. The exhibition is sponsored by the O/o.
Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of
artisans will display a wide range of exquisite crafts
namely Phulkari Embroidery from Punjab, Kantha from
Bengal, Baluchari Sarre from Bengal, Hand Block
Printing from Rajasthan, Patachitra Paintings, Kaansha,
Bell Metal Art
Mat Weaving from Bengal, Stone Carvings from Gujarat,
Leather Animals from Madhya Pradesh, Chennapatna Toys &
Lacquerware from Karnataka.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on the
06th March 2020 at 3.00 pm in the
presence of Senior Officials from the O/o. Development
Commissioner (Handicrafts), Department of MSME and
members of the EPCH.
